About Mountain Lake PBS

Mountain Lake PBS is the public media station for the Adirondacks, Champlain Valley, Montreal and everywhere in between.

Located in Plattsburgh, NY, Mountain Lake PBS serves communities in New York, Vermont, Quebec and Ontario with acclaimed PBS series like Antiques Roadshow, Nova and Masterpiece, local productions including Mountain Lake Journal, and documentaries like the Emmy Award-winning ARTS IN EXILE: Tibetan Treasures in Small Town America and ON HOME GROUND: Life after Service.

Mountain Lake PBS provides unique services and events to families and educators throughout the region, focused on early childhood literacy and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education, and partners with local organizations to strengthen educational opportunities and access in our region.

Mountain Lake PBS' Audited Financial Statement is available by using the link above, and is updated within days of their availability. Inspection of financial records is available by appointment at the station. Copies of any public financial statements will be made available within 5 business days of request at a cost of 10 cents per page (USD).

In compliance with Section 396(k) of the Communications Act, Mountain Lake PBS maintains an open meeting policy, and the public is welcome to attend all meetings. Meetings take place at Mountain Lake PBS with a virtual attendance option. For information on attending or to request minutes, email mlpbs@mountainlake.org or call 518-563-9770.

Certain meetings, or portions of meetings, may be closed to the public to address matters relating to individual employees, proprietary information, litigation, and other matters requiring the confidential advice of counsel, commercial or financial information obtained from a person on a privileged or confidential basis, or the purchase of property or services whenever the premature exposure of such purchase would compromise the business interests of any such organization.
