October's Tuesday Movie Club presents Remake, a deeply personal film from documentary pioneer Ross McElwee. Drawing on decades of family footage, some shot by McElwee and some by his son Adrian, it's a warm, often funny, and moving reflection on the bond between father and son.
The Boston Globe calls it "one of the year's best documentaries." The film holds a 98% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and won the Golden Globes Impact Prize for Documentary at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival.
