Sarah Ward grew up hearing stories about her great-great grandmother, the revered Adirondack folklorist Marjorie Lansing Porter. Steven Engelhart grew up listening to Pete Seeger sing the folk songs that Porter collected. Through the most unexpected of circumstances, their paths have intertwined, leading to a unique collaboration that has carried these venerable songs and stories forward into the consciousness of new generations.
