Indian Lake Central School students partnered with ADK Action and their community to plant a pollinator meadow atop a capped former landfill. Using shallow-rooted native plants like Black-Eyed Susan and yarrow, the project restores a once-disturbed site while teaching kids about environmental stewardship and sustainability.
