Artist Bio:
Lona Helmeci talks of her art being idiosyncratic ~ often involving people or animals and 'telling a story'. Helmeci studied with Robert Brackman at the Art Students' League and attends numerous local workshops being particularly influenced by artist Don Getz. Helmeci actively exhibits her work in juried exhibitions throughout the Adirondacks receiving awards and recognition for her artistic accomplishments.
