Foreign Affairs
MHz Worldview’s show, Dialogue, is produced in partnership with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a non-partisan think tank. The show reaches below the surface to cultural underpinnings from which political thought flows. The host, George Liston Seay, interviews world opinion leaders ranging from top scholars and authors to politicians and royalty.
In a talk show format, Viewpoint with James Zogby, focuses on international affairs. Dr. Zogby and his guests discuss Middle East issues and the global political and cultural landscapes and also open the floor to viewer questions.
International Mysteries
Featuring the best in super sleuths from throughout the globe, these iconic detective series bring viewers to the investigative and exploratory worlds of Maigret, Montalbano, Scene of the Crime and Homicide Squad, to name just a few.
Health & Outreach
In its tenth year of production at MHz Networks, Hablemos de Salud, features Dr. Elmer Huerta, (president of the American Cancer Society) known throughout the U.S. Latino community for his syndicated talk radio program. The program presents preventive medical advice through taped segments and live phone calls.
New in late 2008, MHz Networks will integrate the films received through its annual international youth film festival- The Shortie Awards- to an exciting new production showcasing the festival films by youth age 7-18 for the entire world to see! Special focus will also be given to the importance of youth film education, the lessons learned there within, as well as the ability to connect people throughout the globe with this universal artistic medium.
