Sail into Reading with Mountain Lake PBS and Super WHY!

 

sail into readingWhyatt from Super WHY! made an appearance at the Plattsburgh Mayor’s Cup on Friday. About 100 kids and family members participated in the Sail Into Reading event hosted by Mountain Lake PBS at the Plattsburgh Public Library.

Mountain Lake PBS thanks all the participants for attending, and the community members that volunteered their time to make this event a success:

Erin McGill, teacher at Bailey Avenue School, who did face painting for the kids;

Lita Kelly, music teacher at Seton Catholic School, led a sing-a-long;

Elaine Leavitt, director of Upward Bound at Plattsburgh, brought 12 Upward Bound student volunteers to supervise projects for the kids;

The staff of Plattsburgh Public Library, who donated the space for the event.
